LENTIL WRAPS

a protein-rich, gluten-free, plant-based alternative for tortillas

INGREDIENTS

1t Turmeric

1 clove Garlic

High Heat Oil for Cooking

3/4 c. Split Red Lentils, dry but rinsed

1 1/2 c. Water

1T Miso Paste

DIRECTIONS

Soak your lentils in the water for 2-4 hours.

Pour the lentil/water mixture and the rest of the ingredients into a blender or Nutribullet

Blend the mixture for 2 minutes, or until it is smooth and sort of frothy.

Heat a little bit of high-heat oil in a nonstick skillet, once your pan is hot turn the heat down to medium. 

Pour in batter, just enough to spread a thin layer across the bottom of your pan… kind of like a crepe. 

Cook it for about 3 to 4 minutes until the edges start to pull away from the bottom of the pan, then flip it and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

You may need to re-blend your mixture - or add a little water in between wraps - because the mixture tends to get thicker the longer it sits.
